Technical rider for solo bassist Ivan Kovalenko (Current as of [01.03.2025])
1. Main equipment (included):
• Bass guitar: Fujigen Boundary Mighty Jazz 4-string Fretted
Fujigen JMJ J-Standard Fretless 4-string
2. • Effects processors:
 Zoom B3 (with 9V power supply),
Zoom B6 (with 9V power supply).
 Both devices should be connected via XLR/Jack Out to FOH (Front of House).
• DI box: Samson MDA1 (for a clean bass signal). Connectivity and signal (included):
• FOH outputs: 2 XLR cables (for signals from Zoom B3/B6).
1 Jack cable (backup output, if needed).
1 XLR cable (clean signal via Samson MDA1).
• Mixer requirements: Separate channels for:
 ▪ Processed signal (Zoom).
▪ Clean signal (DI-box). Ability to mix two signals on request.
3. Monitoring:
• Option 1 (floor monitors):
2 floor monitors (Left/Right) with line input.
Signal: processed sound from Zoom B3/B6 + click/metron (if necessary).
Option 2 (in-ear monitors):
Wireless system for in-ear monitors (e.g., Takstar).
 Separate monitor mix channel with volume control.
4. Power:
Required: 2 220V sockets for 9V adapters (for Zoom B3 and B6).
Pilot extension cord with overload protection (2 free connectors). Backup: 2 9V batteries (in case of power failure).
5. Additional requirements:
 Cables: Spare XLR (2 pcs.), Jack (1 pc.). Jack → XLR adapter (1 pc.). Stand/stand: Floor platform for placing the Zoom B3/B6 and DI box. Acoustic isolation: When using in-ear monitors, ensure a quiet area for setup. Time and conditions: 2 hours before the performance: access to the stage for a sound check. Temperature in the performance area: no higher than 25°C (to avoid overheating of the equipment).
