The beginning of my experiments in electronic music. Initially, I didn’t intend to release it at all. Because it seemed to me that it was more like a demo. However, after playing it in the player, I realized that I needed to give it life. Better to do than not to do. I really like this principle. That’s what I did. For me, 128 is the quintessence of my perception of electronic music. It’s an attempt to understand how complex, multifaceted and intellectual it can be. Plus, I love learning new things and experimenting on myself. As a big fan of Motorhead, I decided to take the lyrics to their song Till The End, dug up a VST vocoder on the Internet, I had a couple of drum machines, and there were no problems with synths, since a lot of things come in addition to various analog hardware and MIDI keyboards. I had some sketches of lyrics. Some I had to write. Having plunged headlong (and it never happens any other way for me), I recorded this record in a couple of weeks. As a result, I’m thrilled. The album is out. And yes, I must say about the track Hello a little crazy. I have a wonderful friend, Jenna Prenkert. I got up the nerve, went through our correspondence, and stole a couple of voiceovers as samples for vocals. Absolutely no qualms. Although, I must admit, when the track was ready, I naturally sent it to her for approval. She liked it, and I was happy. And that’s where my love for collaborations was born. I love working with different musicians. It’s an incredibly cool feeling of co-creation. As one of my friends said, diamonds are born at the intersection of cultures. So, 128 or Not?! is my rough diamond.
